How did you hear about this brand?
After researching the Internet for acoustic/electric guitars designed with wider necks and easier to play for people with large hands and/or fingers.

How does this guitar compare with your old guitar, other guitars, or guitars you've tried in stores?
During my recent search for a new acoustic/electric guitar, one that would be more accommodating to my large hands and fingers (my sausage fingers....), I played several different models of Martin, Taylor, Seagull, Yamaha, Takamine, Guild, Epiphany, Fender, and Gibson just to name a few.... Although each one of the above-mentioned guitars had their positive attributes, none of them had what I was REALLY looking for. Don't get me wrong, the guitars I mentioned are absolutely beautiful...and the majority of them also have some BIG price tags to go with them. I currently own seven guitars, all of them I like for one reason or another. Each one is unique and some cost more and in some cases, a LOT more than others. However, I have learned that you don't have to break the bank to find what your looking for in both quality and sound. My proof? Zager Guitar International. I bought my first one three (3) days ago....and it was delivered to my doorstep TODAY! I just put it down a few minutes ago to write this review. This is my first Zager Guitar but it most certainly will NOT be my last! I can promise you that! These guitars are amazing! Just read the reviews like I did and then BUY ONE....see for yourself....

What's your favorite part about this guitar?
Wow! I have so many favorite parts....the quality and finish is probably what first comes to mind. The playability and the ease of playing are incredible! This guitar is absolutely beautiful! The sound / tone that resonates from this guitar blows me away. I think I watched just about every Zager Guitar video that I could find on the Internet, including those videos found on the Zager website. I listened for hours with studio headphones on and I have to say, I was truly impressed with what I saw and heard. When MY guitar arrived and I opened the case, I was BLOWN AWAY! The photos and videos do not truly do this guitar justice. Once I removed the guitar from the case and began to play it, it brought tears to my eyes....and there has only been one other fine instrument that has ever done that to me....and that was a Martin D28. Some may say that I shouldn't compare any Zager Guitar to an iconic guitar such as a Martin D28....but I WILL! And I DID....as well as two other friends of mine, both professional musicians (guitarists) who just left my home after seeing and playing my new Zager ZAD80CE. Both of them have owned and played Martin and Taylor Guitars almost exclusively for years....and BOTH of them said, we can't tell the difference in sound...? The Martins do have a slightly warmer tone, at least to me....so compare both, check out the price difference....and you decide. I am TRULY happy with my Zager 80CE!

If you didn't know the price of this guitar what would you estimate the price to be?
Easily $2,500.00+ If this guitar had Martin or Taylor labeled on the headstock...it would be well over $3,500.00 in price. ....and the best part....it plays and sounds just as good if not BETTER than most Martin or Taylor guitars I have had the pleasure to play. It's crazy...but it's true!

How would you rate customer support?
Second to NONE! THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!! These guys are AWESOME!!! They are friendly, professional, extremely responsive and they treat you as if you were their ONLY customer.

Would you recommend this guitar to others…if so why?
ABSOLUTELY! I already have! I can certainly understand why anyone would be skeptical these days with all of the things we hear on the news or read on the Internet, etc. However, Zager Guitars is a LEGIT business and all of the positive reviews you have read and heard...well, I can now attest to the fact, THEY ARE TRUE!!! Here is why I recommend Zager Guitars: 1) If you order a Zager Guitar and for some reason it doesn't live up to your expectations....SEND IT BACK > ON THEIR DIME! They will tell you they will pay the return shipping....what do you have to lose?? 2) CUSTOMER SERVICE - I am NOT kidding....you will NOT believe it! They will treat you like you are their BEST customer and their ONLY customer. They are extremely personable and they go the extra mile for their customers...which says a LOT especially these days. 3) Zager Guitars are BEAUTIFUL! The quality and finish are comparable to any high end guitar manufacturer out there, 4) Zager Guitars sound as good (maybe even a little better) than they look! 5) The setup on these guitars are perfect! I have NEVER owned a guitar I didn't have to take to a luthier to have additional setup work performed on it. That's not the case with the Zager....it came perfectly setup and the guitar was in perfect tune right out of the case...That was COOL! 6) Be sure to buy the Zager deluxe ABS case.....It has a built-in digital hydrometer to let you know where the humidity levels are which can greatly affect the guitar. 7) Zager Guitars has an A+ Rating with the BBB (Better Business Bureau) for OVER 40 YEARS!!! 8) Last but certainly not least....the ease of playing these guitars. What they say is again, absolutely true! You can play their guitars MUCH longer than you will be able to on any other acoustic. I suppose the way Zager Guitars achieves this is in the setup, the low action on the strings and the fact that the strings are separated a little further apart....not much...but there is a difference! 9) I almost forgot....they are supposedly the # 2 rated guitar in the United States....I believe Martin is still sitting at #1 as they probably should be since they have been in the business for like 180 years...? That's a LONG time!

These are really good guitars! You will not be disappointed if you decide to buy one. Get ready though....if you buy one....you will want another one!
